Aloe Arborescens

From the Aloe genus native to southern Africa, aloe arborescens is a succulent shrub with evergreen foliage. It flowers in winter in the northern hemisphere, while it waits until June to open its flowers in the southern hemisphere. Thus, its epithet arborescens means "tree-like," distinguishing it from the well-known Aloe vera. The arborescens variety, however, is much more concentrated in active ingredients, particularly Acemannan, which has soothing properties and is especially recommended for sensitive skin. However, arborescens grows much more slowly than aloe vera. It is cultivated mechanically to meet the growing demands of the industry. In conclusion, combined with the nourishing properties of macadamia oil, organic aloe arborescens softens all skin types.
