Committed to reducing our environmental footprint, we have, after 8 years of research, succeeded in removing palm oil from all our soaps. This major environmental commitment is now achieved through a new formulation containing a very special oil, high-oleic sunflower oil, which completely replaces palm oil.

The glycerin in our Marseille soaps is not added; it comes naturally from the vegetable oil. After 10 days of cooking and numerous rinses, only a tiny fraction remains. Authentic Marseille soap, made using the traditional method, is indeed a non-glycerin soap. The ingredient "glycerin" is nevertheless listed in the ingredients of our soaps because traces of it remain. The new cosmetic regulations require that every ingredient, even in trace amounts, be listed in the ingredients list.
