Unlike traditional, water-based body lotions, body butters and rich balms stand out for their exceptionally high concentration of protective lipids. They act as a genuine shield against dehydration:
Particularly dense and ultra-rich, body butter is ideal for very dry or flaky skin. Rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins (A, E, F), it provides intense restorative care for winter or after a long day outdoors.
With its slightly softer texture that melts on contact with the skin’s warmth, the body balm absorbs more quickly whilst maintaining long-lasting hydration. It is perfect for daily use after a shower.
Body lotion contains a high proportion of water and has a light, fast-absorbing texture for gentle moisturisation. Body butter is formulated mainly from fatty substances (plant-based butters and oils), providing much more intense nourishment and protection for very dry skin.
