Our blackcurrant bushes (Ribes nigrum) are grown using organic farming methods in Saint-Hilaire, just behind our distillery. Benefiting from the exceptional terroir of Auvergne, the land par excellence for wild red berries, our blackcurrant sprigs are hand-picked and distilled immediately. This short supply chain guarantees absolute freshness and maximum concentration of active ingredients.

A meticulous, artisanal production process

To offer you exceptional quality, we use a distillation ratio of 1:1: 1 kg of organic blackcurrant sprigs is required to produce 1 litre of floral water. Distilled at low temperature and low pressure, our lotion retains all its water-soluble molecules. The result? A pure, alcohol-free hydrosol that is highly aromatic and brimming with active ingredients.

Did you know? Although the blackcurrant bush has been known since the Middle Ages, it was in the 18th century – notably thanks to the writings of Abbé Pierre Bailly de Montaran in 1712 – that its therapeutic and cosmetic properties became widely recognised.

Directions for use: How to apply your floral water?

• As a toning lotion (morning and evening): Spray onto the entire cleansed face. Gently pat dry after application using a washable cotton pad to prevent the skin from drying out.
